Alan Shearer says he is ‘not convinc’ Chelsea will maintain their title charge and has reveal who he is backing to win the Premier League.

A number of pundits tipped Chelsea to struggle this season after the arrival of new manager Enzo Maresca and another chaotic transfer window.

‘I’m not convinced Chelsea will be where they are at this moment at the end of the season, I could be wrong.

I’m going for Liverpool. They’ve got so many options. They are strong in every position.’

Slot has enjoyed a stunning start to his reign as Liverpool manager and ex-West Ham manager David Moyes has also backed the Reds to clinch the title.

Several managers have struggl to replace legendary figures at Premier League clubs but Slot has had no such issues after coming in for Anfield hero Jurgen Klopp.
